An idea is worth nothing until you execute it.

By Aaron Alba

As a kid I spent hours imagining businesses, products and places. Plenty of ideas. Few resources.

What changed wasn’t having better ideas. It was starting to test them.

You don’t need another idea. You need to execute the one you already have.

An idea in your head is free. And it’s worth what it costs. A tested idea, even if it goes wrong, gives you something your head can’t: information.

What I take from it

  • Start small. But start.
  • A bad test teaches more than a perfect idea kept in a drawer.
  • Execution is the filter: good ideas survive it.
